A way to relieve the financial insecurity of our rostered leaders

The ELCA created the Resourceful Servants program to alleviate a major and all too common life strain: the financial challenges faced by many ELCA ministers, seminarians and congregations. The program is backed by the ELCA Federal Credit Union and our financial services partners, the Mission Investment Fund. As the interim pastor at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church in Royal Oak, Michigan, discovered for himself after joining the program and quickly building his savings, that partnership is bearing meaningful fruit.
